Referendum for Maidwell with Draughton Parish Plan
Vote soon …..
The question you will be asked is: “Do you want Daventry District Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Maidwell with Draughton to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?”
Over the last few years a Steering Committee of residents has been helping the Parish Council to prepare a Neighbourhood Plan with several rounds of consultation with residents and local businesses. Our agreed vision is:
To ensure the future vibrancy of the Maidwell and Draughton communities through modest and sustainable development, that enhances and enlivens village life, whilst respecting the distinctive rural character of each village.
Please support this plan by voting on 28th November 2019.
Following an Independent Examination, Daventry District Council (the “Council”) now confirms that the Maidwell with Draughton Neighbourhood Development Plan will proceed to a neighbourhood planning referendum.
